Summer 2014, I felt stuck. I could clearly see my goal of helping millions of children systemize their nutrition and supplementation so they can live happier, healthier lives. Yet, I had already tried two distinct ways of achieving that goal and failed. As the saying goes…

 

There’s no such thing as failure, only feedback.

 

The feedback was clear: those two ways were not the way for me to achieve my goal and be joyful in the process. But I didn’t know what to do next and therefore felt stuck. As you know, feeling stuck stinks. You see where you want to be, but you’re clearly not there yet. 

 

Whenever I feel stuck – in my health, wealth, career, or relationships – I move. I get into action!

 

I make the best next step towards my goal. If I don’t know the best next step, I slow down and get curious.

 

3 Steps to Getting Unstuck:

 

  1. Quiet Your Mind (breathe, write, pray or play)
  2. Open Your Heart (drop fear, pickup love)
  3. Connect with Community (pick up the phone, meet for coffee, go for a walk)

 

Back in 2014, my best next step was a seminar. There I met a coach. For almost a year, we explored my fears and came up with another plan. In baby steps, I took action. The process felt uncomfortable as I grew, but pushed me into action again, which felt exciting! Within 6 months, I felt another failure – more feedback! 

 

I didn’t achieve my goal with that plan, but I clearly transformed in the process. 

 

She helped me get out of a lifetime writer’s block! If I never worked with that coach, I wouldn’t be sharing this with you today. I’m incredibly grateful for the work we did together. As Lou Holtz said, 

 

“In this world, you’re either growing, or you’re dying, so get in motion and grow.”
